Yen-Chu is a second-year MST student at MIT. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from National Cheng Kung University, Taiwan. Before joining MIT, she was pursuing her master's degree at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign; her master's research revolved around electric vehicles. Her research interest is the application of optimization techniques and algorithms to sustainable transportation systems. She is currently working on electric bus optimization with CTA.

Outside of research, she enjoys traveling and outdoor activities such as hiking and kayaking.
