Rachel Luo is a dual-degree Master in City Planning and Master of Science in Transportation candidate. Her research focuses on two topics: 1) environmentally sustainable transportation, and 2) assessing the differential impact of COVID-19 across segments of transit users with varying mobility patterns and needs. Rachel received her Bachelor’s degree in economics from Harvard University. Prior to arriving at MIT, she worked at the World Bank and Bloomberg LP on international development and clean energy. In her spare time, Rachel can usually be found outdoors or buried in a good book (or both).
