Qingyi is a PhD student in transportation. She graduated with a Bachelor’s of Applied Science in Engineering Science from the University of Toronto in 2018. Her master’s thesis was on the estimation of bus operator absence and overtime availability, and the effective scheduling of the extraboard operators to cover such absences. Her current research involves bringing robustness into other areas of transportation planning.
