Qianqian Zhang

Qianqian is a masters student in city planning at MIT and the TA for the department's GIS class. Her interests fall mainly in the interaction of human/housing/community with the city, including affordable housing, urban immigrants, community engagement, as well as sustainable development. She is the research assistant in Clean Energy Neighborhood Development project, Urban Design Atlas, and is now working with D-lab on African community innovation projects. Currently, she is working on her thesis, trying to bind crowd-sourcing with participatory planning and exploring the potential behavior and policy implications.
