Yu Shen
Yu is an assistant professor at School of Transportation Engineering, Tongji University, Shanghai, China, and a visiting researcher at Future Urban Mobility (FM) IRG of Singapore-MIT Alliance for Research and Technology (SMART) center, Singapore. He is working with Prof. Jinhua Zhao on FM Phase 2 project: Mobility Management. I received my PhD degree from MIT Portugal Program, Instituto Superior Técnico - Universidade de Lisboa, Portugal, with the top grades of Pass with Distinction and Honour. The title of his dissertation is the impacts of high speed rail on urban configurations. Research interests include public transportation, shared mobility, smart city, data mining, agent-based simulation, artificial intelligence, etc. He also holds a Bachelor’s degree in System Science and Engineering from Zhejiang University in Hangzhou, China and a Master’s degree in Transport Systems from KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm, Sweden.
