Jian is a first-year MST (Master of Science in Transportation) student. He also holds a M.Eng. degree in Data Science from Ecole Polytechnique in Paris, France and a B.S. degree from Tsinghua University in Beijing, China. Jian’s main area of interest is data-driven behavioral simulation and transport network flow modeling. His current research focuses on how autonomous vehicle (AV) systems could be designed and dispatched efficiently to accommodate first/last-mile passengers. Outside of school, Jian enjoys traveling, cycling and playing basketball.
