Chaewon Ahn is an architect, urban designer, and data visualization designer, with a research interest in using social network data to assess the role of physical public space and reflect ways urban planning can respond to big data generated in our everyday life. She starts her doctoral studies in the Urban Information Systems gruop and the City Design and Development group in the Fall of 2016. She is trained as an architect at the Korea National University of Arts in Korea, and received a masters degree in Architecture and Urbanism(SMArchS) at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2015.
