Tulio Silveira-Santos is a Ph.D. Researcher in Civil Engineering with an emphasis in Transportation Engineering at UPM (Universidad Politécnica de Madrid), Madrid, Spain. He is currently a member of the TRANSyT-UPM Research Group – the Transport Research Center, and a visiting Ph.D. student at the MIT Mobility Initiative, Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). He holds a master's degree in Transportation Engineering from UFRJ (Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro) and a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from UFMG (Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais). He has 5+ years of experience in consulting and in the execution of engineering projects in public and private organizations. He has visited 25+ countries and lived in 5 countries (i.e., Australia, Brazil, Portugal, Spain, and the USA).
