Seamus is in the second year of his Master of City Planning and Master of Science in Transportation studies. He is currently researching the economic benefits of transit for the Chicago Transit Authority. He has previously analyzed fare policy for the CTA and researched transportation funding mechanisms to replace the gas tax for the Energy Foundation. Before coming to MIT, Seamus worked for the City of New Haven, CT as a civil engineer with a focus on traffic calming and bicycle and pedestrian infrastructure. Seamus received his B.S. from Yale University in 2019. In his free time, he enjoys cycling, playing piano and guitar, and photography.
