Moji is a third-year PhD student at Northeastern, advised by Professor Koutsopoulos. He currently focuses on developing a simulation model for rail system operations. Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) sponsors and partners with this research. Before joining Northeastern, he worked as a data scientist and data engineer in the financial industry for a couple of years. Before that, he graduated with his Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a minor in Computer Science in 2018 from Sharif University of Technology. In his free time, Moji enjoys exploring new places around the city and traveling to new cities to explore them as well.
