John Pelayo Pritchard is a visiting researcher at DUSP. He holds a bachelor of science in Civil Engineering from Northwestern University.  His research focuses mainly on the quantitative analysis and potential policy implications of the impact of accessibility, and personal mobility and travel behavior on social exclusion, especially in underprivileged pockets of the city of Lisbon, Portugal.

He is interested in travel behavior, transport poverty, social exclusion, social equity, public transport and non-motorized travel behavior.
