Research Engineer SMART

Banani Anuraj is a research engineer in Singapore MIT Alliance for Research and Technology (SMART), Singapore. Her current project includes physiological and emotional response to Autonomous Vehicle (AV) rides. Prior to this, she has worked as research engineer in department of biomedical engineering, National University of Singapore (NUS) in which one of her projects involving instrument detection in ultrasound images resulted in a journal paper publication. She also has industry experience with IBM Singapore as IT Specialist. She has published in 2 IEEE conferences on the topic of Digital Watermarking and one of her papers also received the reputable Best Paper Award. She has graduated with Masters of Science in Electrical Engineering from NUS, Singapore, and Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical and Electronics Engineering) from Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore. Her research interest includes image processing, data and signal processing, information security, pattern recognition and telecommunication.
